WHO WE ARE

Dredging and Exploration magazine was conceived as a quarterly publication of dredging, marine, oil & gas industry in Nigeria which is developing at a fast pace due to the socio-economic exigencies of the nation at this time.

The need for dredging in developing many parts of Nigeria and for containing the vagaries of adverse weather are replete in a country like Nigeria where the whole of her southern border is dominated by the Atlantic Ocean and very many rivers and marshland. The multinational oil and gas industry that have acted on the soil since the 1950s have left it impoverished and, for the most parts, improperly cared for.

Thus, environmental issues will be tackled and published in the magazine. Overall, Dredging and Exploration is set to focus on this aspect of Nigeria's oil and gas industry with a view to ventilating all burning issues; to provide a forum for exchange of relevant ideas; to facilitate exchange of knowledge and intelligence about dredging and to nurture the transference of skills from other lands to interested Nigerians and others.

By the same token, Dredging and Exploration will cater to the airing of social and political news and views. In this regard our mission says it all:
